Options Strategist Rampart Hires Ex-Nataxis Wholesaler

Rampart Investment Management, a Boston-based options strategies firm, has hired former Natixis executive Richard Davis to lead the firm's business-development efforts aimed at institutional and high-net-worth investors.
Davis was head of institutional-consultant relations at Paris-based Natixis' US headquarters in Boston. He has also worked in sales or research at Geode Capital Management, the Colony Group, Babson & Co., and Standish Ayer & Wood, all New England-based firms.
“Dick’s research and sales background, and his experience with institutional and high-net-worth investors, make him the ideal person to help lead Rampart’s continued growth,” says Rampart's president and chief executive Ronald Egalka. “Beyond just understanding the science of our options investment strategies, Dick comprehends the benefits behind the products Rampart offers.”
Rampart had more than $8 billion in assets under management at the end of June 2009.
